Twin Branch's Oletti Wins HR Derby
NEW CARLISLE - Twin Branch Billy Goats outfielder Lucas Oletti won his first homerun derby at this year's All-Star game. Oletti, who has hit 20 homeruns this season, opened the competition as the #4 overall seed.
Along the way, Oletti defeated Godfather Matador Smith, Wildcard Mason Monhaut, and Landshark Levi Miller before eventually besting Mechanic Colton Boren in a swing-off for the championship.
This year's derby was held at The Palace of Bourissa Hills due inclement weather at Migley Field. It featured a single elimination bracket made up of representatives from each ORWBL franchise. Last year's winner, Jared Jonkman, was unable to defend his crown as he was ousted in the quarterfinals.
