White Lightning finish regular season with 11-1 record at Home
NEW CARLISLE- The Saugany Lake White Lightning wrapped up their 2016 regular season taking 2 out of 3 from the New Carlisle Newts.
They won the first 2 games on walk off Home Runs before dropping their first and only home game of the season in Game 3. Overall, it was a very impressive season at home from Saugany Lake who should be a team to fear come playoff time.
The White Lightning finished the regular season with a 13-11 record in their 2nd year in the league. It was their first winning season in team history and the young team will look to build on their impressive season come playoff time.
While the National League Playoff picture is still yet to be finalized, Saugany Lake will either be the 4 or 5 seed and will face Cabo in the 1 Game Wild Card round. In all likelihood, the winner will then face the Galena Marsh Dabbers at the Marsh. If there is one team that could surprise some elite teams this postseason, the White Lightning are the team to keep an eye on.
