Cabo rallies for series win at South Bend
SOUTH BEND- Both the South Bend Sour Chicken Muffs and Cabo Yabos made their ORWBL debut's on Sunday in a series that did not disappoint. South Bend came out strong, taking Game 1 (4-3). Cabo responded in Game 2 however, with a 5-1 win.
Both teams started to score some more runs in the rubber match, but it was Cabo who took Game 3 by the score of (11-6) to clinch the series win. John Premetz led the way for the Yabos in what was a rather low scoring series. Both of these teams figure to pose a threat to the New Carlisle Newts in the National League and South Bend will get their opportunity against the Newts on Sunday at Migley Field in what figures to be a heated series.
As for Cabo, they will close up their 6 game road trip to start the season against the (0-3) Mechanics.
